Supermarket Slay Ride deets
I can’t really believe it’s December already, but that does mean it’s time for the Supermarket Slay Ride!!!
Firstly thank you so so much for being a good egg and supporting this important ride once again. The ride is in it’s fourth year and makes such a tangible difference for the South & East Bristol Food Bank and the people who rely on it.

Timings and locations - v important!
⛵️ 9am - Start location open The Underfall Cafe
The team at the Underfall Cafe have kindly set up a coffee and tea station for you to fill your boots before the ride. It’s a £2 donation to their charity, please BRING £2 CASH for the donation to make things silky smooth
📢 9.30am - Rider briefing
Please don’t miss this. After a short briefing you’ll be free to head off on your ride…or get a delicious breakfast in town if you fancy a more casual ride. Do it your way!
3pm - Food Drop Open at Bertha’s Pizza
We’ll be ready to receive all your shopping from 3pm. Please don’t come before then as we won’t be open! You’ll get your raffle tickets and a FREE beer to take home from the legends at Wiper & True - so everyone’s a winner!
5pm - Food Drop Closes & UNLIMITED PIZZA PARTY STARTS
Once food drop closes the Pizza Party can begin! The amazing crew at Bertha’s will be cooking up a storm and be bringing out pizza after pizza until we are all fed.
The heroes at Bristol Beer Factory have donated cans to the bar. When you buy one of these beers, the money will get added to the pot for the Food Bank, so when you get thirsty you know what to do. 😉
7.30pm - RAFFLE!!!
We’ll draw the raffle and see who won the awesome prizes.
The Routes
Ready to take a look at the routes and plan your ride? We have three options this year - 2x road rides which are tried and tested, and the introduction of a new gravel route if you prefer getting muddy!

The Shopping List
This is the reason we’re riding. Collect at least 5 items from this shopping list before you complete your ride.
These are all items requested by the food bank to build their Christmas Hampers. Each item we donate will make Christmas a little bit better for someone, and you can’t beat that!

We’ll be drawing the raffle in person at the Pizza Party at Bertha’s Pizza, but obviously not everyone will be there. So what happens if your number is called? We hold on to your prize and you can expect an email the following week to hook you up!
